We are committed to partnering with high quality organizations in order to develop the most healthy, fit and effective pastors possible. We are committed to the health and well-being of all Wesleyan clergy and their families. The following organizations help us to accomplish this mission:

Broom Tree Landing offers Christ-centered rest and renewal for pastors, ministry leaders, and couples through personalized R.E.S.T. retreats—Retreat, Encouragement, Safety, and Transformation.

Tom Friedrichs, a graduate of Messiah University, entered ministry after being impacted by Youth for Christ. After years of pastoral leadership and a season of near burnout, he and his wife Karen launched Alongside Ministries and Broom Tree Landing in 2020 to support Christian leaders through hospitality, mentoring, and encouragement.

Lodestar Mountain Inn is one of the places our pastors stay. Steve Wingfield, founder of Lodestar Mountain Inn, warmly invites Shenandoah District clergy to come and be renewed and refreshed in the mountains of West Virginia.

It is a place of healing, hope, encouragement, and training for those who may be discouraged or in need of rest. As a pastor himself, Steve has a heart for pastors and desires for them to take advantage of this opportunity.
