Helping people step into their God-ordained calling through accountability, coaching, and encouragement.

“Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.’”

— Matthew 28:18-20

It starts with your local church. Talk to your pastor and let them know. They will walk through the process with you. To learn more, see New Ministerial Candidate below.

If you have served as a ministerial student for one year, and you have completed your required number of classes, then you could be eligible for licensure. Please ensure your updated transcript is sent to [email protected] and follow up with the district office. Once the DBMD can verify that you have met your educational requirements and you have completed your one year of service, you will be contacted by the DBMD Chair to complete the required paperwork and to schedule an interview with the DBMD.

This is a required course that must be fulfilled in order to be considered for ordination. It is a mentor relationship with clear objectives that typically requires about 12 months of supervision.

Yes! All those with Wesleyan credentials must complete an ASR. This is a yearly obligation in order to maintain your credentials with TWC.

Whether you’re transferring to or from the Shenandoah District, YOU start the process. Depending on your credential, there’s a slightly different process. See below District Transfer for more information.

If you are licensed or ordained in another denomination and would like to transfer your credentials to TWC, see below Denominational Transfer.
